How to be Born-Again

Jesus told His disciples: The time at the end begins with wars and rumors of wars as nations rise against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. Famine, earthquake and pestilences follow. (Matt. 24:6-7; Rev. 6:3-8, 12-17)

As chaos erupts all over Earth, Satan brings his man on the scene, the antichrist, and gives him much power. The antichrist comes with deception as a man of peace and he is able to fool many. ((Rev. 6:1; 13:1-2; Daniel 7:8, 19-20, 23; Daniel 8:25; Daniel 11:21; Rev. 13:4-5, 8)

He signs a treaty with Israel, which sets in motion the seven years of the Tribulation. (Daniel 9:26) He rebuilds the temple in Jerusalem and brings back the worship and animal sacrifices. (Daniel 9:27; Daniel 11:31)

In Israel and in the world many will follow the antichrist believing that he is the savior of the world, the Messiah. (Daniel 11:32a) "All who dwell on the earth will worship him whose names are not written in the Book of Life." (Rev. 13:8 NKJV)

The apostle Paul calls this time "the falling away" or the apostasy. (2 Thessalonians 2:3a). But many with understanding will see who he is and will alert others. (Daniel 11:32b-33a)

The antichrist will rule with the help of the false prophet (Rev. 13:10-14a), and with ten kings who will receive power with him during that time as the world will be divided into ten regions of influence. (Daniel 2:41-42; 7:19-20; Rev. 17:12-14, 17)

Once the antichrist feels confident as to his power over the entire world, he will stop the daily sacrifice at the temple and he will set up the abomination of desolation, like Jesus told his disciples. Not only will he sit on the throne at the temple proclaiming to be "god," but there will be an image of him that all must worship—or be killed! (Matt. 24:15; Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11; Rev. 13:15; 2 Thessalonians 2:3b-4)

Jesus gave a warning to His disciples: "When you see the abomination of desolation…standing in the holy place, then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." (Matt. 24:15-20 NKJV)

The Great Tribulation would have arrived! The people of Judea and the rest of Israel will have to run for their lives! They will have to flee to the mountains not even looking or going back for anything. That's how short of a time they will have! There will be a place of refuge in the mountains for those who will be able to escape the ferocious attack that will come against them. (Matt. 24:16-21)

The Scriptures testify as to the protection Israel will receive for
3 ½ years during the time of the Great Tribulation:
"The woman (Israel) fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1260 days (3 ½ years)." (Rev. 12:6 NIV) "The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times, and half a time (3 ½ years) out of the serpent's reach." (Revelation 12:14, NIV)

When the antichrist sees that Israel has escaped, he will then turn his anger and hatred toward the Christians saints: "Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of JESUS." (Revelation 12:17 NIV)
Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake." Matthew 24:9, NKJV

"I was watching and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them." Daniel 7:22, NKJV

"He…shall persecute the saints of the Most High. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half time. (3 ½ years) Daniel 7:25 NKJV

"His power shall be mighty…He shall destroy the mighty and also the holy people." Daniel 8:24 NKJV

"It was granted to him to make war against the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation." Rev. 13:7 NKJV
Meanwhile, God's plagues [the seven seals & seven trumpets] will be coming one after another against the enemy's kingdom. God in His goodness and mercy is giving the human race the last opportunity to repent. ( Revelation 6, 8, 9)

"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world… And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.'
(Matthew 24:9, 21-22 NKJV)

Immediately after the Tribulation, Jesus Christ returns to rapture his people out of this world before the wrath of God is poured on the enemy's kingdom and on a rebellious world that will not repent. (Matt. 24:27-31; Luke 21:25-28, Mark 13:24-27; Daniel 7:13a, 22, 26; Daniel 9:27c; Rev. 14:14-20; 15:1-3; Isaiah 63:1-6; 1 Thessalonians 1:5, 4:16-17, 5:9; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10)

The Lord Jesus, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, destroys the enemy's army at Armageddon. The antichrist and the false prophet are sent into the Lake of Fire. Then Satan is chained in the Abyss for a thousand years. (Rev.19:11-21; 20:1-3)
